Mechanical, electrical and plumbing design is several disciplines on one job, each at its own rate. ReliTime prices every hour by who worked it and in what role, and lets each job’s lead approve the hours on it.
A rate can apply to the whole organisation, a client, a job, a person, or the people holding a role on a job. The most specific one in force on the day prices the hour, and an hour with no rate is named rather than billed at nothing.

Each job can name a manager. They may approve the weeks of people who booked time to their job, and nobody approves their own week.

Split the job into a phase per discipline or stage and give each one a budget in hours. A booking that takes a phase near or past its budget says so, and the hours are still recorded.

Yes. A rate can name a role on the job or a person on the job, and the most specific rate in force on the day applies.
Nothing. A new rate starts on a date and never overwrites the old one, so re-running an earlier invoice prices it at the rate in force when the work was done.
Yes. Each job carries its own SAC code, and the invoice prints it on every line for that job. A job with none falls back to the organisation’s default, visibly, rather than inheriting one silently.
Administrators see cost and margin in the work-in-progress report. Approvers see what the work is worth without seeing anyone’s pay.
